In July of 1967, William Shirey, James Plummer and a number of other men formed the Fairfield Boys Club to provide activities for their sons like those available to boys in the cities. In 1971 the club was incorporated by William Shirey, Jim Plummer, James McCreery, Robert Fulcomer, and Guy Betz. The Fairfield Boys Club activities include business meetings, craft nights, campouts, service projects

Dues are $0.50 per year. Club Member- Anyone living in Fairfield Township, St. Clair Township, or Borough of Bolivar, New Florence, or Seward. Associate Member- Anyone living outside of Fairfield Township, St. An Associate Member cannot be an officer or on the board of directors. On behalf of the Fairfield Boys Club, we would like to inform potential members that the club will not pay for the transportation or other expenses of adult members if the adult members is not active in the club. To be considered active it is necessary for all adult members, especially the father of junior members to participate in all fundraising activities and to attend at least half of all other activities. These activities include business meetings, craft nights, road clean-up, camp outs, fishing trips, etc. There will be exceptions given for conflicts with work schedules, but every attempt should be made to be in attendance.
