Bikes for Tikes was started out of the love for bicycles and after seeing a need in the Greater Bridgeport Area in 2004. So many families do not have the money or means to buy a nice bicycle for their child(ren); yet, there are many other families in Fairfield County that have bicycles they have outgrown. Bikes for Tikes finds these unused and unwanted bicycles, fixes and cleans them and then finds the people in need. Bikes for Tikes works with Urban Impact of Greater Bridgeport and the Bridgeport Rescue Mission to bring bicycles to the needy and we look for your assistance, if you have an unused or unwanted bicycle and would like to help you can contact us at 203-247-6862. Bikes for Tikes has also partnered with Cycle Dynamics of Westport, if you are in the market to buy a bicycle you can turn in your old one with them and We will collect it.
