We have some Walmart Feeding America food available at our location, 624 5th Street. If you could use any of it, please feel free to stop by and help yourself.

We also have milk with a sell-by date of 7/19/26. Rather than throwing it away, we'd love for someone to be able to use it if possible.

When school cafeterias close for the summer, many children lose access to the meals they receive during the school year. That's why our Summer Meals Program is back ☀️

Today marks the start of summer meal service across the DMV, with additional sites opening on a staggered schedule throughout the coming weeks.

🍎 Free, nutritious meals are available for kids and teens all summer long.
📍 Visit www.kidsmealsdmv.org to find a site near you, check hours, and see when locations in your community begin service.

Thank you to Harris Teeter for helping make this program possible and ensuring kids focus on learning, playing, and growing!

We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals and families in our community access the support and resources they need during difficult times. Our mission is to provide compassionate assistance, and connect people with essential services that promote stability.

We offer a variety of community support services, including food assistance, homeless assistance, emergency support services, and help applying for programs such as SNAP and Medicaid. We understand that navigating assistance programs can be overwhelming, and our team is committed to guiding individuals through the process with dignity, respect, and care.

Our organization believes that no one should face hardship alone. Whether someone is experiencing food insecurity, housing challenges, financial emergencies, or simply needs help finding available resources, we are here to help.

Through partnerships, community outreach, and dedicated volunteers, we strive to make a positive impact every day by serving those in need with compassion, integrity, and hope.

Together, we can build a stronger and more supportive community for everyone.
