Have you, or someone you know, been enjoying the Learning Series that the Lead Dog Project hosted last year? Would you like to get more involved in the process of, not only, putting that series together, but the inner workings of the organization?

We have the perfect volunteer position for you! Join the Board of Directors!

Some important things to note before you decide to commit:

The terms are 2 years
Terms begin November 15th and run through November 14th (2 years later)
Regular Board Meetings are on the second Tuesday of the month at the Ken Kunkel Community Center 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm (these can be adjusted a bit to the availability of the current board members)
Special Board Meetings may be called by any Director with no less than 5 days notice
Duties of the Board include: setting policy, approving annual budgets, overseeing staff and programs, directing committees, ensuring alignment with the mission, and an annual review of all governing documentation.

If you are interested or you know someone who might be, fill out the Google Form inquiry no later than October 20th, 2026 to be considered for the Board term that starts on November 15th!
