Fabulous Feminist Fundraiser

Today, we honor Gloria Steinem.

For more than six decades, she helped change the way this country talks about women, equality, power, reproductive freedom, and who gets a seat at the table.

Her passing feels especially significant for an organization like the Fabulous Feminist Fundraiser because FFF exists as part of that same long movement. Different generation. Different place. Very much the same belief that change happens when people come together, speak up, support one another, and put resources behind the work.

We are incredibly proud to carry that work forward here in Alaska.

Feminism is not finished. Equality is not finished. And neither are we.

Thank you, Gloria, for helping open the doors.

We’ll keep pushing them open.

What a night.

Full of energy. Joy. Community. People showing up for each other in the most powerful way.

And because of you, we raised $57,700 to fuel intersectional feminist work across Alaska.

We are $2,300 away from $60,000.

This money means:
• More funding for grassroots groups
• Fewer barriers. More access.
• Real, direct change in our communities

This year’s awardees include Big Brothers Big Sisters of Alaska, Fairbanks Q***r Collective, Delta G.E.M.S., Project Cozy Corner, Summer Girls Who Weld, and more.
