National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) is an intensive six-day training experience for Senior Patrol Leaders, Assistant Senior Patrol Leaders, Patrol Leaders, Crew Leaders, and other youth leaders as well as prospective Troop/Crew leaders. The course uses a systematic approach to teach contemporary leadership skills, with an emphasis on both theory and practical application in a Scouting context. Here's a sneak peek at the commemorative Council Jamboree Patch Set! Note there is a participation patch that cannot be purchased. The only way to receive this patch and complete your set is to get your personal "Declaration of Adventure" signed by the people running the stations. All adults/older youth who volunteer to run a station for at least half of the day will receive the participation patch. Stay tuned for an announcement when the patches are available for preorder.

Tonight's meeting we worked on the plumbing badge with merit badge counselor Mr. Thomas.
This is a great badge to learn especially at this time of year.

Today was Scout Sunday at Epworth United Methodist Church. We celebrated scouting and being Reverent. Thank you to all that were able to attend.
