HOISTED ON THEIR OWN PETARDS OR GOD FINALLY ANSWERED MY PRAYER...Ever since January 21 I've been praying that God would help our embattled country. I often wondered what HE would do, knowing it would be unexpected and interesting. Never, never in my wildest imagine did I think that many of our top department heads would do something like this. Proving, to my mind, they are truly incompetent and dumb as dirt! So, of course, their explanations are Lies. The usual Trump way to handle scandals...deny, deny, deny. Yah know it's getting kinda tiresome and embarrassing to watch and hear. In our former country they would all be gone now. No press conferences, no interviews, no jobs. If we push this long enough and hard enough we might get some resignations. Because just think what could have happened had their texts had gotten into the wrong hands. I'm so glad that the mission was a success despite their stupidity and that no Americans were harmed. But, WAKE UP AMERICA this is the caliber of cabinet members chosen by the Trump Administration...all with little integrity...emulating their boss. The hero in this whole SNAFU is Jeff Goldberg, the respected journalist from the Atlantic, who showed restraint protecting dangerous info even as he released screen shots after being labeled a liar by the biggest pack of liars we have. So, I'm going to sit back and watch GOD work. I'm sure it will be unexpected and brilliant and as difficult to defend as this episode. Can't wait. There's hope yet.

THE KIDS ARE ALWAYS WATCHING And how do you explain to them how some of the most powerful people in our country were so irresponsible? That they will lie to cover themselves instead of owning up to their mistakes? What does this show our kids? If you think they're not paying attention I pity the poor parents of a teenager who tries to lie his way out of a situation. You gotta know that you'll hear this argument, " The head of National Intelligence didn't remember the phone call either!" or something like that. Irregardless of the terms or situations used this kind of unethical behavior will be emulated through our culture to the detriment of all.

YEAH, YEAH YEAH, WE KNOW YOU AND PUTIN ARE SUCH GREAT FRIENDS and that the war with Ukraine would never have happened had you been president. Heard that today for the 328th time!!! Yet here we are still negotiating with Putin, Trump's great friend, who kept his friend, our president, waiting an hour before taking his call!! Who attacked Ukraine even as he was negotiating with his friend and is clearly calling all the shots. When will Trump wake up? Or can he? Is there something we don't know about that causes him to delay further sanctions on Russia? Why isn't the "Artist of the Deal" unable to make one? In the meantime people are dying.

What a bunch of TWITS! Yes, TWITS...At the time of their appointments there was great concern about their experience and competency. Now it can be said the group chat on Signal proves those fears true. After listening to their testimonies yesterday I'd say that their intelligence should also be questioned. After all they couldn't "recall" any important details of a very recent call. So they're either dumb as dirt or lying! What other conclusion can there be? Imagine this group getting together and deciding their course of action going forward. They'll take the pages out of Trump's book of how to get around something that is clearly illegal and warrants condemnation. " OK, ok we're gonna just say we can't recall any details" " OK, we'll just say that we don't believe the info was classified. " " So we'll just say that the journalist is lying. Yah, yah, we'll go with the Fake News angle". And so on, as they fabricate more stonewall answers to instill doubt and cover their stupid backsides. The behavior of these Cabinet level leaders is nauseating and anyone defending these actions is complicit in trying to cover up a huge break in our security by the very people who vowed to work to protect us. But then the Trump administration doesn't honor vows, like the ones to our Constitution. So this shouldn't come as a surprise. PS We should expect more like this.

OFF WITH THEIR HEADS...OR NOT If nothing else shows the difference between the Trump administration and all others it's this latest snafu. Texting war strike information before the attack between top Trump cabinet members on a regular app takes the cake. Now, any other time the outcry would be heard far and wide with resignations being handed in immediately because, after all, there's no excuse or good reason for such ridiculously dangerous behavior. But, no, not this group. Uh, uh, nope. For some insane, stupid reason, like everything today they'll just lie and lie about it. Fox is spinning it that it shows what great team work there is within the administration! NOOOoooo. If it's anything it's TEAM STUPIDITY. Watching Gabbord and the head of intelligence testifying before Congress today just emphasizes their complete acquiecenses to Trump's style of governing. Just lie, lie, LIE. I was delighted to see them squirming as the senators told them how stupid and dangerous their actions were . But they have been properly schooled to the Trump way of dealing with investigations. Doesn't that just warm your heart? Does it concern anyone that there may have been more "conversations" like this? And that China or Russia may be aware of their carelessness and irresponsibility? How does this incompetent behavior serve us as a country? So, while any intelligent citizen questioned most of these appointees at the time, this situations proves their incompetence. That being said I doubt too much will come of this with maybe one or two resignations being submitted from lower level officials. Sigh. Welcome to Trumpland 25. PS Hope I'm wrong.

ITS NOW PERSONAL...I just found out that my SS check will be delayed. It's only another week but it will make my bills late unless they accept the later time and not impose a fee. When I did further research I found out that for many, maybe even me, it will be found that they have been overpaid and then the checks will be held until SS has been repaid!!! YIKES! Course you can go to an office and dispute this because certain situations can no longer be solved on the telephone. There will most likely be a line. So through these devious ways they can paralyze this agency. In fact, one former director believes it will collapse in 3-6 months. If this is true imagine what it will do to the economy? So it's even more important that we put pressure on Congress. If they find a backbone along with the judicial department we may be able to get control back. Please call. Write.
