Jess is a rising senior elementary education and integrative STEM major.

She says, “my favorite DoNJ memory is our final dress rehearsal before showcase!! I absolutely love being able to watch my friends perform and finally try my own dances full-out on stage. Hearing our dance family cheer for everyone in the crowd, wearing full costumes and makeup for the first time, counting down the days until the real deal— it’s all so much fun.”

She says, “My favorite donj mem is definitely big/little! In donj i’ve always had my “unofficial” bigs and littles (shoutout amanda and nixon) but having the full experience of finding my perfect little that I match with and creating a whole reveal has made me so much more connected to this org and i didn’t think that was possible!! Maddy I love you so much and i’m so glad i could be your mom 🤍”

Hailey is a rising senior nursing major.

She says, “One of my favorite DoNJ memories (because it’s truly so hard to just choose one) is the last week leading up to showcase where I get to be with all of my friends every day at practice as we put the final touches on our dances! The last week is always so jam packed and the excitement in the atmosphere is so palpable! Hearing all the support from the wings and seeing how much effort, energy, and love everyone puts into every part of showcase is a feeling I will never forget! DoNJ and Tap have truly grown to be my second family and I would be nothing without their constant love and encouragement day after day 💕”
