Part Two: the Logger’s Ballad! Every year Mel sings this old logger’s love song for us, and every year we soak up every note.

is a retired logger and runs a saw mill that he built himself from a Mac truck engine! Mel built our timber framed barn by hand, along with several other buildings at camp. He’s an artist at heart, and we are eternally grateful for his generosity, friendship, and songs. 💕🪵🌲
