I’m Voting Yes for Students

The Ed Spec process will begin for Lowell Elementary this month! 💚 We are so thankful the 2026 School Construction Bond passed with the required supermajority. 🔨 Bonds allow for projects to start quicker!

The Educational Specifications process will begin this month for the new Lowell Elementary School!

Ed Spec planning includes members of the Capital Projects department, the principal, assistant principal, office staff, custodial staff, teachers from each grade level, paraeducators, and district leaders.

From now through February, meetings will take place to help the design team create a road map for the new building.

The Lowell Elementary replacement project is possible thanks to the voter-approved 2026 School Construction Bond. 🚧

Look at all those SMILES! ☺️ The Jackson Elementary replacement project is absolutely beautiful. Thank you voters who supported the 2022 Capital Levy!

It’s going to be an extra special first day of school this year when students get to walk into the new building for the first time! ❤️

We’re loving seeing Jackson Elementary come together! ❤️ This is why bonds and levies are so important. Students, staff, and the community will enjoy this building for generations to come! This replacement is possible because of the 2022 Capital Levy!

Congrats, Lexie! As a reminder, the state provides zero funding for athletics! Voter-approved levy dollars support athletics! 🎳

Congratulations to Everett High School bowler Lexie Zabel on being named one of seven recipients of the 2026 Most Positive Athletes in Washington Award! 🎳

This year, the Positive Athlete program received more than 15,000 nominations from student-athletes and coaches representing more than 6,000 high schools nationwide. Only about 5% of nominees were selected as award winners.

The award recognizes student-athletes who make a positive impact on those around them. Way to represent Everett, Lexie! 💙
