A little check-in with Riggins, Smoky & Jules! 🐾❤️

These three little boys look to be about 6 weeks old, and today we’re getting their weights.

Weighing kittens is so important. It gives us a baseline so we can make sure they’re growing and gaining like they should. You’ll notice little Jules is quite a bit smaller than his brothers, so we’ll be keeping an especially close eye on him. ❤️

Their weights are also important because today is deworming day! Proper dosing is based on each kitten’s individual weight, so everyone gets weighed first.

These boys have had a pretty rough beginning, but things are looking up. They’re safe, they’re being cared for, and now we get to watch them grow. 🥹

Riggins, Smoky and Jules will be available for adoption when they’re old enough and ready, so keep watching our page for updates!

Their next chapter is just beginning. ❤️🐾

Wow. Just wow. ❤️

When we started Whisker Foundation, our goal was simple: help cats and kittens who needed someone to say, “Yes, we’ll help.”

Today, there are 1,000 of you following along.

1,000 people sharing their stories.
1,000 people cheering when they find their forever homes.
1,000 people worrying with us when one is sick or struggling.
1,000 people helping us reach the next person who might foster, adopt, donate, or simply care.

Something pretty amazing happened today. ❤️🐾

Once a month, I have lunch with a wonderful group of women, and today one of the newer ladies was sitting with us.

Of course, at some point I started talking about Whisker Foundation and all of the cats and kittens we’ve been caring for lately.

She suddenly looked at me and said…

“Wait… YOU’RE Whisker Foundation?!”

Then she said, “I just donated to your foundation!”

I was honestly stunned. 😂❤️ What are the chances?

It was one of those moments that made me realize just how far Whisker Foundation is beginning to reach into our community.

Sometimes I’m so busy caring for kittens, answering messages, coordinating adoptions, cleaning, feeding, and running from one thing to another that I don’t always stop and realize that people I’ve never even met are seeing what we’re doing.

And they’re supporting us. ❤️

To everyone who has donated, shared one of our posts, followed our page, told someone about us, adopted, fostered, or simply cheered us on — thank you.

You may not realize how much those things mean to a small rescue like ours.

And to my new lunch friend… thank you for giving me a pretty wonderful surprise today. ❤️🐾

❤️ Olive & Pickles Update ❤️

You just know you've got good cats when they grow up to be the sweetest little lovebugs. 🥹🐾

Their adopter sent us these pictures of Olive and Pickles, and my heart absolutely melted. Look at them! They are growing up to be such wonderful, kind, affectionate cats.

This is one of my favorite parts of rescue — getting these updates months later and seeing the cats we once cared for completely settled into their forever homes. Seeing how loved they are and hearing about the wonderful cats they've become makes every difficult day in rescue worth it.

We knew these two were special when they were with us, and apparently they haven't changed one bit. ❤️

Thank you to their family for loving them so much and for sending us pictures. Please never stop sending the updates — we absolutely LOVE them. 🥰

🐾 Cheddar & Colby Are HOME! 🧡🧡

Yesterday was a very special day — our sweet bonded orange boys, Cheddar and Colby, officially went to their forever home together! 🥹

And we already received the update we were hoping for… they had an AMAZING first night with their new family. ❤️

Seeing these two safe, comfortable, loved, and still together makes everything worth it. From the moment they came to us, we knew these boys shared a special bond, and we wanted so badly to find a family who would open their heart and home to both of them.

They found exactly that. 🏡🐾

Happy tails, Cheddar & Colby! You two hit the jackpot — and we have a feeling your new family did too. 🧡

Thank you to everyone who shared their story, followed their journey, donated, and helped us get these boys to this moment. This is what rescue is all about.

Well… last night took an unexpected turn. ❤️🐾

Meet Solstice.

Solstice is a feral mama who came to us yesterday morning and is currently safe in our care. We were absolutely NOT expecting her to go into labor last night.

The plan was to get this girl spayed — but apparently Solstice had a very different timeline in mind. 😂

I had checked on her less than an hour earlier, and there was no indication that anything was happening. When I came back to check on her again…

THREE BABIES. 😳❤️ And she wasn't done.

This is also a very different experience for us because Solstice is truly feral. She doesn't want us near her, and right now we're respecting that.

We're keeping things quiet, making sure she has plenty of food and water, keeping her environment warm and comfortable, and watching mama and babies from a distance.

And so far, Solstice seems to know exactly what she's doing. ❤️

There's something pretty incredible about watching a feral mama's instincts take over. She may not trust us yet, but she knows exactly what those tiny babies need.

So today, we're giving her space and letting her do her thing.

And apparently… we're having kittens. 😂🐾

Welcome to the world, little ones.

Our plans have changed, of course, and she is going to a foster's home until her babies are ready for adoption. We will keep everyone posted.

We'll keep everyone updated as we learn just how many little surprises Solstice had last night. ❤️

Meet Honey & Hazel.

These two beautiful bonded sisters have somehow been getting overlooked, and we honestly can't figure out why.

Honey and Hazel are not your wild, bouncing-off-the-walls kind of kittens. They are incredibly sweet, calm little girls who already seem to be developing into the kind of cats who would much rather curl up in your lap and be close to their person. 🥹

They still play and do all the adorable kitten things, but there's something wonderfully gentle about these two.

And they're bonded. ❤️

They play together.
They sleep together.
They find comfort in each other.
And when they're ready for a cuddle, you may just end up with TWO kittens in your lap.
