Heidi is 2 years old, about to start a Car T trial. Which in and of itself means her family will carry the weight of surgery, treatments, and travel, not to mention the burden of uncertainty that this is the right path, the best choice for their little girl battling DMG. Right now, it’s the only option for keeping the brain tumor Heidi’s been fighting for almost 5 months “stable for as long as possible.” The only hope for more time.

Heidi is smart, sassy, chatty, cheerful. A kiddo who adores the outdoors and is already obsessed with dinosaurs. And cars. And blowing bubbles. She brings love, laughter, and light into every room, every heart. She’s also a warrior, a mantle she didn’t choose, but one she’s donned without blinking an eye. Our hearts are with Heidi, our encouragement and energy, as she embarks on this journey. But she deserves better options, more choices than just one that buys her more time, and comes with its own host of complications and setbacks.

Kids like Heidi are why we do what we do, funding the critical brain cancer research that holds the key to breakthroughs. Because uncurable is unacceptable. Help us get there, now: donate2csn.org/action
