NU Green Cup

NU Green Cup Green Cup 2014 begins October 20. Get ready to save some water and electricity and attend awesome sustainable events!

Green Cup is Northwestern's annual competition to conserve the most water and electricity in residence halls. Prizes valued up to $500 will be awarded to the winning residence halls with and without dining halls and Greek houses. Green Cup takes place from mid-October to mid-November. Featured events will offer entertainment, giveaways, and green living tips that will help participants win the com

petition. Other events will offer opportunities to learn about conservation practices and how they contribute to the bigger picture. Scoring for Green Cup is based on reduction of water and electricity utilities and attendance at green events (Green points).
