Augusta Jewish Federation The Augusta Jewish Federation serves all Jewish residents of the CSRA, regardless of affiliation.

The mission of the Jewish Federation is to promote Jewish life, and to provide for those in our community who are in need or need a helping hand.

Saeb Erekat (main Palestinian negotiator since 1993), while speaking on Palestinian TV on Dec 1, 2018, said "I heard Olmert say that he offered Abbas 100 % of the West bank territory. This is true, I testify to this. Olmert presented a map and said "I want Israel to take 6.5 % of the West Bank and I'll give the PA 6.5 % of the 1948 territory in return. The area of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip on the even of June 4, 1967, was 6,235 sq km." I (Erekat) added on an aside to Abbas: "There are 50 sq km of no man's land in Jerusalem and Latrun, we'll split them between us, so the territory will be 6,260 sq km; Olmert wants to give you 20 sq km more, so that you can say that you got more than the 1967 territories". On Jerusalem, Olmert said "What's Arab is Arab, and what's Jewish is Jewish", and he also offered to accept 150,000 refugees over a 10-year period.
