Okay, how about this one?

This is our anniversary month, THIRTEEN YEARS of volunteering to help the cats in each community of Jackson County WV. We also try to help our sister counties of Roane and Mason who have no TNR program, as we can, when we can.

To date we have sterilized 11,147 cats. That is 5159 males and 5988 females. This total does NOT include approximately 850 fosters from 2013-2018 that were processed under a name, not a number. So, you do the math !!

ALL CAT LOVERS IN JACKSON, ROANE, MASON COUNTIES, we now are asking for YOUR HELP... We have this August fundraiser happening and any donation would be greatly appreciated.

In August 2013, when we started, we pulled $1000 out of our savings account to sterilize one colony of cats. One colony. We had no intentions of making this a lifestyle, yet here we are. From a magical meeting in Tractor Supply with "Bill and Arlena", our project "WENT VIRAL" before it was a thing. From that point on, we were amazed at how many people had been hoping and praying for the day that cats would be treated with dignity and respect in this county.

13 years later, you have never let us down. Let's Do This. These fundraiser dollars pay vet bills. Period. Only Vet Bills.

Today's vet run is complete. 8 Jackson county cats have improved lives. 4 males 4 females.
Regroup. Ride out a couple more storms today. Trapping Thursday back in Ravenswood.

5 kittens and their friend returned this morning. Don't tell them they are on our list for Thursday trapping.

Crazy night of storms in WV. Bet our cats on the truck were none too happy as the night wore on.
Today is a reduced run for OFF. We only have 8 vet spots, each a precious commodity.

Three hours on Henry Street Ravenswood but we rolled out with the 2 prize cats we went for !

Storm is brewing, 5 hours earlier than they predicted. Hoping that's a power move to clear the storms out for our trapping in Ravenswood tonight. We want to be setup by 4:30, with the drop trap. Originally they said storm at 7pm.
We really only need 2 hours or so. If we haven't tricked mom by then, we probably wouldn't if we spent the night.
Ravenswood is right by the river, for those who don't live in these parts, so storms are more intense there.

Nobody knows where those 5 kittens went we were supposed to trap tonight, so we will be working on Henry St tonight instead. Maybe someone will see them by Thursday. Little devils, they must have seen my Facebook post.

Predicted rainy week ahead. Could upend trapping plans here, there, everywhere. Sure hope not !

The 5 kittens, at about 3 months of age, seem to have vanished from where they were for 2 months, per the caretaker this morning. He hasn't seen them for 2 days. Anyone in the lower end block of Wilson Street Ravenswood know anything ? Their mom is an eartipped calico. Kittens were staying under one house but going to the next house to get fed.
I'm supposed to trap them tomorrow.....
