Hello Mountain of Hope ministry partners and friends. We pray your summers have been going well. Préçois’ family and Marguerite will be staying around the Northwest area of Arkansas in September for a couple weeks and we’d love to connect with you if you’re in the area!

Mountain of Hope and Bethel Baptist Mission are in a transition after the loss of our dear leader Pastor Francois Norcilus. We have ministry updates and things coming soon but we loved to grab a coffee or connect over sharing a meal!

After faithfully serving in ministry for 50 years, Pastor Francois has now entered into eternal rest. With love and gratitude, we invite family and friends to join us in honoring and remembering the beautiful life of Pastor Francois Norcilus.

Please continue to pray for the kidnapped missionaries, their families, and the whole country is living in fear as gangs take control of the streets.

It’s very sad and the next two days big Voodoo holidays in Haiti. Set an alarm on your phone to pray for the country of Haiti. It is a spiritual battle.

Haiti Update:

PTL! The border opened this morning for travel to the Dominican Republic. RL, our contact in the DR, is working with the doctor and hospital today to reschedule Dieuferly’s clubfeet operation. I believe the surgery should be next week. Sherry and I will travel with Dieuferly there. The doctor will operate on both feet at one time. He said the first four to five days, Dieuferly will be in pain. Please be in prayer.

All is calm here in Haiti. We are so thankful. I have to say, for the first time in months, I’m now optimistic for Haiti. I can see some things happening; Haiti could have a bright future. I pray that all the evildoers involved in the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse will face justice and let us have a new Haiti not consumed with greed, power, and corruption.

Haiti will again be the “Pearl of the Caribbean.”

We are claiming Haiti for Christ.

Please pray for Haiti. The country has been under lots of political turmoil for the past year. This doesn’t help as people who want power begin to fight to fill the vacuum. 🙏🏾🇭🇹❤️

Jovonel Moïse was killed in his private residence by a group of Spanish-speaking assailants around 1 a.m. Wednesday, the Haitian government said.
