HomeAid North Texas is excited to add Billie Collins to the team as our new Director of Projects! Billie is a deeply committed servant leader that brings more than two decades of senior executive experience and a lifelong passion for protecting and empowering vulnerable populations. At HomeAid, she channels this mission into action, driving high-impact construction and capital development projects from initial planning stages to final completion.
Before joining HomeAid North Texas, Billie built a distinguished 17-year career of service at Juliette Fowler Communities, a historic, faith-based non-profit organization focused on affordable and senior housing. Rising through the ranks to serve as Chief Housing Officer and ultimately Chief Operating Officer, she oversaw all facets of multi-million-dollar operations, including affordable housing, dining, facilities, and resident transportation. Her operational expertise was paired with hands-on project management, notably spearheading the development, design, and construction of a $20 million, 144-unit Low-Income Housing Tax Credit building, alongside a $2 million community kitchen renovation.
