For many families, diapers are the hidden barrier to stability. The diaper banks in North Texas report an annual need of 28 million diapers — and they're able to cover only 10% of that number.

This fall, we're pulling our entire industry together to stand in the gap and make a difference for these families. All money raised will go to the purchase of diapers, wipes and other essentials.

Everything kicks off this Friday, Aug. 28.

No parent should have to choose between buying food and essentials like diapers and wipes for their baby. Yet in North Texas, 1 in 3 families have to regularly make that decision.

Two weeks ago an amazing group of volunteers from our homebuilding industry partners met up at Childress Engineering Services for a massive cut day! Builders, bankers, trades, and suppliers spent the morning sweating and covering themselves in sawdust while cutting and stacking components for our bed builds that serve hundreds of families and children across north Texas. These few hours of service will have a lifetime of impact!

🛠️ Building Hope and Dignity, One Bed at a Time! 🛏️

At HomeAid North Texas, our mission is to build a future where everyone has a safe place to call home. Yesterday, that mission came to life in a major way thanks to the incredible team at Meritage Homes, who rolled up their sleeves to build brand-new beds for local children in need.

Why do beds matter to our mission?

Housing stability is about more than just four walls and a roof—it is about dignity, security, and a foundation for a better future. For a child experiencing crisis, a bed provides a crucial sense of stability and a safe space to rest, heal, and thrive. Ensuring no child has to sleep on the floor is a vital part of how we build hope and restore dignity to the most vulnerable members of our community.

This impactful day was a true testament to the power of community collaboration:

Recently, we hit the road to personally deliver a small token of appreciation to our incredible sponsors of HomeAid of North Texas First Annual Golf Tournament.
