OSBHA is hosting an Unpacking Systemic Ableism webinar on Thursday, May 28th from 12-1:30pm, led by Amy Fellows and Jeni Canaday. This virtual training combines the lived experience of the trainers with historic and current policies and practices to create an impactful understanding of ableism, systemic ableism, and neurodivergence in the education and healthcare fields.

This webinar is intended for staff working at youth-serving institutions (teachers, administrators, school health providers, community-based organizations, etc.). General admission is $25 or free for OSBHA Gold and Platinum Members. This week is Classified Appreciation Week. Our dedicated and hardworking classified staff deserve respect and recognition and not just a passing note but true gratitude through deeds not words. Our classified employees are the backbone of our district and we cannot do the work of educating and nurturing young people without them. Students thrive thanks to our classified staff and they deserve so much recognition. Thank you OSEA Eugene Chapter 1!

OSEA Eugene Chapter 1 has reached Tentative Agreement with Eugene 4JSD. Members will vote in early January before the school board can ratify. Much love and thanks to our amazing Eugene Chapter 1 bargaining team, GO TEAM, we did it!
