Oregon DU Members: Here’s What You Need to Know About IP28
IP28 is a proposed Oregon ballot initiative that would make it illegal to injure or kill wildlife, effectively eliminating all hunting and fishing in the state. Even more, it would criminalize raising livestock and breeding animals, including hunting dogs, with sweeping consequences far beyond what many realize.

If adopted, IP28 would also collapse key conservation funding, putting wetlands restoration, waterfowl habitat, and science based wildlife management at serious risk.

Ducks Unlimited is on it. We’re actively working with partners and preparing to defend conservation, habitat, and the proven system that has delivered real results for wildlife and people.

Here's how you can help:
• Join Duck Unlimited to support wetlands, waterfowl habitat, and science-based conservation.
• Volunteer or attend a DU event to help educate your community about real conservation solutions.
• Donate to DU's Wings and Wetlands Initiative to support voter education, coalition efforts, and long-term conservation defense.
More to come!
