📷 Say cheese! Volunteer photographer needed 📷 Do you spend hours scrolling through cat videos online? Use your camera skills to help real-life rescue kittens find their forever homes! A single picture can change a rescue cat’s life forever. Join us as a volunteer photographer and use your lens to save lives. Responsibilities:

😻 Take clear, well-lit, and engaging photos of rescue cats and kittens for online adoption listings.
😻 Film playful, cute, or personality-driven video clips of the animals for TikTok and other social media platforms.
😻 Crop, color-correct, and enhance photos and short videos to make the animals look their absolute best.
😻 Work mostly onsite at our main facility in Eugene, OR, with occasional travel to local foster family homes.

Spay/neuter post-op cat care from Scooter The Neutered Cat:

💊 Pain meds and prescribed medications help keep your cat comfortable and support healing.
💧 After surgery, some cats feel nauseous. Small amounts of food (wet food is best!) and plenty of water are easy on their stomach.
🎪 A smaller area helps prevent zoomies and jumping. You can keep them in a large closet or small bedroom, or if they’re jumping too much, try a mesh playpen!
👕 Some cats tolerate a recovery suit better than a cone, while others prefer a soft cone over the dreaded cone of shame.

😻Adoption update on our sweet bonded siblings Tristan (ginger cat, now called Percy) and Tatiana (re-named Pike) from adoptive parents Daniel and Carly: “They have definitely made themselves at home, and we love them very much…. Persimmon (or Percy for short) is as cuddly as ever, sometimes demands cuddles at 3 am. Just recently, Pike (amongst many other loving names) seems to be getting pretty comfortable with us and cuddly as well. We've learned they are very photogenic and good subjects for our very amateur photography.”
