Happy Father’s Day from Play As One Academy!

This week, Play As One Academy had the privilege of partnering with Emmanuel Faith Preschool to celebrate and encourage fathers. Founder Jon Goodman shared a message reminding dads that their greatest legacy is not found in what they leave for their children, but in what they leave in them.

As fathers, it is easy to focus on providing opportunities, possessions, and experiences. Yet Scripture reminds us that the greatest gift a father can give is a life marked by faith, integrity, character, and love.

“The righteous who walks in his integrity, blessed are his children after him.”
Proverbs 20:7

At Play As One Academy, we believe that when fathers walk closely with God, families are strengthened. When families are strengthened, communities are transformed.

Today, we celebrate the dads, grandfathers, coaches, mentors, and father figures who faithfully invest in the next generation. Thank you for the example you set and the legacy you are building every day.

The 2026 Chick Embrey Golf Classic was our biggest and most impactful tournament yet!

Because of our incredible sponsors, golfers, volunteers, and ministry partners, we saw:

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for everyone who helped make this day possible. Together, we’re using sports, mentoring, and discipleship to impact kids and families throughout our community.

What an incredible reminder of God’s faithfulness.

This past Friday, our Play as One family came together for the 3rd Annual Chick Embrey Golf Classic. Sponsors, golfers, volunteers, coaches, parents, and supporters united around a shared belief: the next generation matters.

Because of your generosity, more kids and families will have opportunities to experience mentorship, community, discipleship, and the love of Jesus through Play as One Academy.

As we celebrate what God has done, we’re also looking ahead to an exciting summer. Our 2026 Summer Camps begin soon, and we can’t wait to help students grow in faith, friendships, confidence, and purpose.

This year’s theme is BELIEVE.

🎤💛 Shout Out to the Coaches! 💛🎤

One thing we hear over and over from our coaches is this:
“I came to help the kids… but I ended up being changed too.”

There’s something powerful about showing up consistently for the next generation. Encouraging them. Believing in them. Walking alongside them.

And this summer, we’d love for more parents and volunteers to experience that too.

You do not have to be perfect. You just have to be willing to show up.

Our June Summer Camp cannot happen without amazing people stepping in to lead, encourage, and help create an unforgettable week for these kids.

Today we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives serving our country. 🇺🇸

Their sacrifice reminds us that freedom is never free.

At Play as One, we are deeply grateful for those who gave the ultimate sacrifice so families like ours can gather, worship, coach, mentor, play, and live freely.

This Memorial Day, we pray for the families carrying the weight of loss, for the men and women who have served our nation, and for hearts that never forget the cost of freedom.
