Escalante River Watershed Partnership

Website

Escalante River Watershed Partnership The Escalante River Watershed Partnership is a community-based coalition working to protect one of the West’s most important rivers.

The Escalante River is facing an uncertain future. The spread of invasive plants and animals, and increasing human pressures threaten the health of this incredible river. We want to make a difference. The Escalante is part of our lives – together, we can save this river and its many benefits for our residents and future generations. We come from federal and state resource management agencies, county and municipal governments, non-profits, local businesses, and academic institutions. We are conservationists, local landowners, research scientists, outdoor enthusiasts, and naturalists. You, too, can help protect the river on the ground and in our community. We Partners and the public can join any committee they are interested in, helping to advance our river protection and restoration goals. You can also get your hands dirty with us, and volunteer on projects to actively restore the watershed.
