"Smell Me" (orange and white cat to the right) passed away during the early hours of the morning. She was 15 years old and came from our neighbor's house across the street as a feral kitten. Woody named her "Smell Me" because he would try to make friends with her by holding his hand down near her face for her to smell. He would often say, "Come on little girl just Smell Me...this the name." She eventually took to him and me too. She had a good life and a lot longer than it would have been for a feral. We will miss her.

Being a small non-profit animal organization, there are a lot of things I can't do due to limited help. Also, over the last 5 years, my health has deteriorated to the point that I can't do rescue if it involves "running" after animals! Therefore, I try to provide food to people who really love helping abandoned or feral animals but are limited financially due to the number of animals that need help! I do the best that I can, but Bobtails and Furballs, Inc. really needs your help through donations to continue providing some food to help these wonderful people out. In the past, we have helped pay for spays/neuters, vaccines, injuries, etc. but we are VERY limited right now due to a drastic decrease in donations! I know times are difficult for EVERYONE but even $5-10 would help and add up! We appreciate everything and anything that you can do to help. We are in dire need for cat food/supplies at the present time. The cat population is exploding rapidly! You may send donations to B & F, Inc., P.O. Box 963, Dunn NC 28335.
