Mission Report: Monroeville Public Library Fun Fest

We partnered with Starkiller Garrison and the Saber Guild for this was a great event that was a lot of fun for everyone involved. The Monroeville Public Library Fun Fest brought together a wide variety of people and families, and there was a great deal of excitement throughout the event. The Star Wars groups had the opportunity to interact with attendees, talk about Star Wars, and share information with anyone interested in becoming a member. The groups also donated new Star Wars toys to the library's raffle basket as a way of supporting the event and helping the library with its fundraising efforts.

Every now and again, our members get to participate in a truly special event, an event so special we prioritize our newer members first; an event whispered in stories told by the old guard in changing rooms and at armor parties . . . Dancing on stage at a Weird Al concert 😀

"We go to be on camera for Al's opening number ("Tacky") and nailed our performance during "The Saga Begins." After the concert, we got our picture with Al, and then entertained the VIP guests while they waited to meet Al."

Member Josh M. gifted Weird Al a Ghost Base racing shirt and said he was very happy with it. ☺️
