One of the many things that we wish more people knew is that eating disorders do not have a specific look.

People of all body sizes, ages, genders, and backgrounds can experience eating disorders and disordered eating. Unfortunately, misconceptions about who can struggle often create barriers to understanding, support, and care.

When we rely on stereotypes, we risk overlooking the very real experiences of those who may be suffering in silence.

At White Pine Center for Healing, we believe everyone deserves access to compassionate, healing-centered care, regardless of how they look or whether they fit common assumptions about eating disorders.

Awareness begins with understanding, and understanding begins with challenging the myths that prevent people from receiving the support they deserve.

What is something you wish more people understood about eating disorders?

Welcome to White Pine Center for Healing 🌲

At White Pine, we believe healing begins with compassion, dignity, understanding, and connection.

Our mission is rooted in supporting individuals impacted by eating disorders, body image concerns, disordered eating, and weight stigma through education, advocacy, community outreach, and healing-centered care.

We know that many of these struggles are often misunderstood, overlooked, or experienced in silence. That's why creating spaces for awareness, conversation, support, and hope is at the heart of everything we do.

Whether you're here to learn more, seek resources, support someone you care about, advocate for change, or simply better understand these important issues, we're glad you're here.

Thank you for helping us further a mission that reminds people they are worthy of care, support, and healing.
