Our little food bank which is located in Erath is in need of a couple of things. We are a non-profit and can only help with the help of others.

1st of all- I know school will be starting soon and times are tough but we are in need of a few things.

Most people ask for a list so here is one.

Can chicken
Can tuna
Rice
Box milk
Mac n cheese
Boxes Mashpotatos
Vienna sausages
Roman noodles
And anything else non perishable that someone needs in their house.

We do have alot of can green beans and can corn.

We are also in need of essential items (anything your home needs). As you can see our essential section it in need.

We have a couple extra needs if anyone can donate their time.
1. Our grass cut around the building.
2. Electrician- we have a refrigerator that was donated to us so we can help others. We know the refrigerator works but we think it is an electric issue.

We truly want to Thank anyone that helps us to assist others.

Opened today Sunday, July 26, 2026 until 2p at 701 E Lasite Erath. We are a non-profit non perishable food bank opened the last Sunday of each month.

We here to assist residents from Erath, Delcambre, Maurice, Mouton Cove and Perry.

I would like to Thank Lily Broussard and her wonderful family for donating us a refrigerator.

We now have a Community Fridge at our food bank Hearty Meals Outreach located at 701 E Lasite in Erath.

Everyone is welcome to go put in it. Date the plate lunches so we know if good.

Due to the bad weather coming in the non perishable food bank will not be opened on this Sunday, Jan 25th.

We want to keep everyone safe.

But please reach out if need.

We help the following cities- Delcambre, Erath, Maurice, Perry/Mouton Cove. Application need to be filled out. It is pinned. We need residence Proof, income Proof and ID/drivers licenses.
