Ephrata Legion Post 429 Baseball Ephrata Legion Post 429 Baseball is a summer baseball team comprised of 16-19 year olds from the Ephrata & Cocalico area.

The team is affiliated with the Post 429 Legion in Ephrata. Since Coach Sipe took over the program in 2011 57% of Ephrata legion players have gone on to play baseball in college. Former Post 429ers who are currently playing or have played in college include...

Ephrata wins 4-2 to advance to the final day of the PA legion state tournament! They will play tomorrow at 2:15 at home for a chance to advance to North Carolina for the National Regional!!

Ephrata plays tomorrow at 645 at the WAR against Paxton. A win advances us to championship day!

Tomorrow will officially be YOUTH DAY! Any youth player wearing a baseball uniform will be let into the games for FREE!

EPHRATA WINS IN EXTRA INNINGS!! We are now one of the final 4 teams remaining in the state! We play tomorrow to advance to the Championship day!

Game time today at the WAR is 3:45. We look to stay alive in the state tournament! Come grab and early dinner and some baseball!

Then head straight to clipper to watch the 17U Lions!

Things heat up today on day 2 of the State Tournament.

We have 2 elimination games at 10:30 and 1:10.

Then the winners bracket semi finals.

Playoff baseball is back Ephrata!! Games at the WAR all day today beginnng at 10:30. Other games start at 1:10, 4:10 and Ephrata begins the first round of states at 7:10!

$5 gets you in for the entire day!

Oh, and if you’re a youth baseball player or fan you can get in for FREE if you volunteer to help chase foul balls. AND you get a snack and drink from the snack bar!

Hope to see the community out to support events like this returning to Ephrata!

We are so happy to have a large event back at the WAR starting this weekend. Things will feel like normal! We take on Carbondale/Lakeland at 7:10pm.

The best news is the snack bar will be up and running with a full menu for the first time in almost 2 years! Come grab dinner, some great baseball, and enjoy being part of the community again!

The field is set for the state tournament. The 8 best teams in PA begin to battle it out on Saturday! All games are at War Memorial Field! Don’t miss a great weekend of baseball. $5 gets you in for all 4 games!

First-round pairings for Pa. State Tournament July 24:
Game 1: Uniontown (6) vs. Claysburg (7), 10:30 am
Game 2: Norchester (2) vs. French Creek Valley (8), 1:10 .m
Game 3: Northampton (3) vs. Paxton (4), 4:10 pm
Game 4: Carbondale/Lakeland (5) vs. Ephrata (Host), 7:10

We are only a little over a week until the State Tournament returns to Ephrata! Games start Saturday and championship game is Wednesday. If you’d like to volunteer any time in the snack bar please let us know. We could use some extra hands!

Saturday and Sunday 1030am start until 930pm

Monday 1230 start until 930pm

Tuesday 4pm start until 930pm

Wednesday 2pm start and maybe a second game that championship day.

As the season gets closer we are working on finalizing our roster. We’ve added a lot of talent to the roster already and have a few spots remaining for anyone interested in playing high level baseball to prepare for upcoming college seasons. You also get to play in the PA state tournament!
