We would like to apologize if you stopped by the park to see our tree. We’ve been having some trouble getting the timer set correctly, and to top it off, the crazy wind last night decided to take the tree down on us 😂🎄

At this point, we’re still figuring out the best plan—whether we’ll be able to get the tree back up or if we’ll need to take it down altogether with all the holiday hustle and bustle. We’re not sure if we’ll get a chance to have a meet-up around it, but we will do our best and keep everyone updated.

We originally planned to post the times the lights would be on, but as mentioned, the timer seems to have a mind of its own 😂😂

Again, we are truly sorry for any inconvenience. If anything changes, we’ll be sure to let y’all know. Thank you all so much for the continued support—we can’t wait to have more fun with you all soon!

Yesterday at Holly in the Hills, we held a small memorial honoring several individuals who truly lived and breathed service to our community.

Each of them made a lasting impact and is deeply missed by all who knew them. We could all share countless stories about their kindness, dedication, and the difference they made in our lives.

We hope they would have been proud of Holly in the Hills and of the work we continue to do for our community.

We love this place, and we want to see it thrive. We want people to come here, feel welcome, and want to be part of this wonderful area.

We may not have all the assistance, bells, and whistles that communities across the mountain have—but I’ll tell you this: we have something I wouldn’t trade for the world. We have each other. The bond within the Cumberland River community is truly something special.

Thank you to the families for sharing photos and memories with us. We hope you were able to enjoy and find comfort in our small tribute.
