Shadow did great last night. We are told no accidents, but he is a professional theif the foster said! He took a cup of yogurt and ran around the house not even spilling a drop, while foster was looking for the cup 🤣😂 hes doing very well, takes corrections nicely, but his past of being abused definitely shows a bit. He will build confidence soon enough!

Thank you Dawn for all the food donations the last week, we appreciate you! We do still need to raise 450$ more here to help us buy a half pallet of food and some vaccines if anyone can help! Rescue is NOT cheap, and we have two new intakes along with 9 other dogs here! Everyone needs vaccines and pups need four sets! Without adoptions we are not getting $ back we have spent already on their vetting, plus adoption fees barely cover each dog anyways! Thanks 🙏♥️🐮

Currently, 5/25/26 we need to raise 600$ to buy a half a pallet of food and more vaccines!

Every day we work hard to care for the dogs that come through our rescue, and animal control dogs. Many of you step up to help when a dog needs medical care, food, or other urgent help — and we appreciate that more than you know.

But behind the scenes, there are also the everyday costs of simply keeping the rescue running.
Electric. Gas. Insurance. Cleaning supplies. Daily care items.

Even before we begin caring for the dogs themselves, we have about $500 in bills every single month just to keep the lights on and everything operating. That’s on top of food, vet care, and all the other needs our dogs have.

We are hoping another rescue comes forward for the 5 of Sugars pups we still have here. Candas A. Bennett is trying hard for us to find rescue, so we can make room for other doggies. Sometimes change of scenery is all they need to get adopted. We maybe taking up some funds if so, to help us get our money back we spent on spays and neuteres for them... 🙏♥️🐮 if anyone is interested in one of these babies please reach out. If we can move these five, gives room and can save the new pitty that came in for animal control ♥️🙏🐮 if we cant move some of these out at least, unfortunately the new pitty will face Euthansia possibly, and we dont wsnt that, we have already fallen in love with her here, shes so good 😭🙏♥️🐮

Pupdate on Sugar.... her new momma writes:

Hello ma’am!

I just wanted to send a little update on Sugar. She has done absolutely amazing, and I've truly gained a best friend. Since coming back to school in Rome, she has adjusted so well. On the days I'm in class all day, she goes to doggy daycare, and everyone there loves her! She loves every person she meets and has such a sweet personality.

Over the past month, her personality has really started to shine, and we've definitely seen the puppy come out in her. She keeps me laughing every day and has become my little sidekick. She is truly living her best life!

From a crappy hoarding situation, to someone's best friend.

Awww Shadow is so getting spoiled lol 😆 already had a bath and just sleeping and laying around. I would have given him a bath prior but it was short notice today that she would end up fostering for us. We were waiting for her to say yes after she met him and filled out paperwork etc. So when she said yes today it was short notice and hadn't bathed him

This baby girl is such a good girl! One thing we have learned, she does NOT want dogs near her bones, she has the cutest lip snarl though 🤣♥️🐮 shes fine with dogs otherwise, but shes telling Justice off when he gets close to her kennel while shes on her bed chewing on a bone. And her lip snarl is adorable, shes not doing anything but laying on bed, growling a little and having the cutest lip snarl, then going back to chewing. So shes not being aggressive at all just saying this is MINE. So, she is definitely is protective of what is hers! Otherwise so far she has been so good and seems house trained ♥️🐮🙏 as you can see in the photo, she loves special things! So if anyone wanted to adopt her, you would have to understand some dogs just need distance when they are enjoying something cool!

Two more days for this adorable tiny little girl to get claimed! Already had people say they maybe interested but nobody has messaged page yet! But we will!

Shadow is getting ready to go to his foster home today!! Yes this baby is even ok with chickens! If anyone will be interested in adopting this handsome boy, reach out!! Hes got the cutest underbite too! Good with dogs, kids, cats, an chickens! Does NOT have a prey drive. And normally a super calm boy! He says im busting out of here folks for awhile! I'm one of thr lucky ones and get to go to a foster home! 1 year old mix breed only about 35 lbs!
