Who doesn’t love food reviews?!🌮🌯

Today we got to have lunch at El Carnitas Mexican Grill and it was delicious! Thank you El Carnitas for having us and for sharing your food with the community!

We will be doing more food reviews of locally owned restaurants here in Enid so stay tuned!

Today, the Garfield County Hispanic Coalition was proud to see our Co-Chair, Angel Almaraz, featured as the spotlight speaker at Northwestern Oklahoma State University’s Enid Leadership Council Lunch & Lead.

Angel leads through service. His commitment to giving back, bringing people together, and strengthening our community is reflected in the many ways he continues to show up for Enid.

We are incredibly proud to serve alongside him and grateful for the leadership, heart, and dedication he brings to our Coalition and our community.

NWOSU Enid Leadership Council invites you to Lunch & Lead on Tuesday, Aug. 25, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Northwestern Oklahoma State University Enid Campus Commons.

Guest speaker Angel Almaraz — the Greater Enid Chamber of Commerce 2026 Volunteer of the Year — will talk about his experiences in service and the opportunities to make an impact through volunteering and leadership. Almaraz is an active member of the Garfield County Hispanic Coalition, Enid AM AMBUCS, United Way of Enid & Northwest Oklahoma and the St. Joseph Catholic School Advisory Council. He has made a lasting impact in the Enid community in a short amount of time.

Lunch and refreshments are provided.
