Mission: Roots & Goals empowers rural and under-resourced communities through soccer. Connecting youth, local leaders, and volunteers to cultivate teamwork, confidence, and
sustainable growth both on and off the field. Vision: To build a network of community-driven soccer initiatives that inspire young people,
strengthen cultural ties, and nurture self-sustaining local projects. Our pilot site —
the Iyante Community Center in Eleven Mile, Jamaica — is where it begins. What We Do:
Play & Train- Host youth soccer sessions, position-specific clinics (like goalkeeper training), and leadership activities that teach discipline, teamwork, and respect. Grow & Build- Pair every soccer event with a community-focused action — clearing fields, planting crops, or restoring shared spaces — to link physical growth with environmental care. Connect & Exchange- Create partnerships between communities in Jamaica and supporters abroad. Volunteers, clubs, and coaches from Colorado and beyond can contribute time, gear, or funding. Sustain & Empower- Mentor local youth leaders and coaches so that each program continues independently and to provide the tools and support they need to lead. Current Focus:
-Supporting Rohan and the Iyanti Community Center as they rebuild the local field and revive youth soccer in Eleven Mile.
- Launching the first official Roots & Goals Keeper Clinic in 2026.
- Establishing a base of supporters and donors in Colorado and the U.S. soccer community.
