Volkssporting, or volkswalking, is the term used for those who walk with the American Volkssport Association. Originally, we used the German "Volksmarch", or people's march, to describe our traditional community walks of 5k and 10k in length, which are weekend events held in communities all over the country. We still hold them, although now we have Americanized the term, partially, to "volkswalk".

Nowadays, we also have hundreds of seasonal and annual walks all over the USA which you can go to on your own, open all the time. We have local clubs that put these on, and you can find a club near you, where you help us to walk for fun, fitness, and friendship.
