Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement that began in 2012 as a simple idea: a day encouraging people to do good. Held each year on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, it grew from a small initiative at the 92nd Street in New York, into a worldwide celebration of giving, kindness, and community support.

Today, millions of people come together to support the causes that matter most to them- and every single act of generosity counts.

We want to take a moment to thank everyone who has made a monetary donation to the 2Moms Angel Tree. We see you. Even though you aren’t dropping off gifts at Lauren’s and we can’t personally say thank you in person, please know that we notice your generosity. Your donation counts, it matters, and we are truly grateful.

We are also working on a way to personally thank each and every person who has supported Angel Tree this year in a special way. We’re not sure exactly what that will look like yet, but we do know this: we appreciate you- your kindness, your support, and the love you pour into this program in so many different ways.

Thank you to the Knights of Columbus Council #50 for their incredibly generous donation of nearly 50 winter coats to 2Moms on a Mission! We’re so grateful to be the vessel for this donation. Most of these coats will go directly to children and families through our Angel Tree program as Christmas gifts, and the rest will be shared with other local programs in need.
