There’s just something special about spending time with horses. Out here, surrounded by the beauty of God’s creation, the worries of the world seem to fade away. These horses remind me every day that healing, trust, and second chances are possible. Watching them peacefully graze under the Arkansas sky fills my heart with gratitude and reminds me why Horseshoe Pines Horse Sanctuary means so much to me. It’s not just about rescuing horses it’s about creating a place where both horses and people can find peace, hope, and a sense of belonging. 🐴❤️

There's something special about a Saturday morning spent with a cup of coffee in hand moments like these remind me to slow down and appreciate the blessings God has placed in my life. The road hasn't always been easy, but every challenge has helped shape the journey. I'm grateful for these horses, the opportunities to grow Starbrite Painting, and the dreams I'm working toward one day at a time. Whether it's at the ranch, on a job site, or planning for the future, I'm reminded that hard work, faith, and patience can take you farther than you ever imagined. What you're looking at is more than a logo. It's a glimpse into a dream I've been building one paintbrush stroke at a time. Starbrite Painting proudly serves Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana, and every project I complete helps support something bigger than myself. My faith has taught me that sometimes God places a dream on your heart long before He opens the door, and this is one of those dreams. My goal is not only to provide quality painting services with over 32 years of experience, but also to help create Dorcheat Pines Inn & Restaurant, a one of a kind destination in Louisiana where Southern hospitality, great food, horses, family, and faith come together. I envision a rustic 10 room inn with beautifully themed rooms, a full service restaurant featuring authentic Louisiana cuisine, Southern comfort food, and traditional German dishes that honor part of my family's heritage. Guests will enjoy fresh coffee at sunrise, trail rides through the pines, campfires under the stars, live music, and unforgettable ranch experiences. One of the things that will make Dorcheat Pines truly unique is the ability for guests to bring their own horses and enjoy comfortable horse boarding accommodations while staying for a weekend or an entire week. Visitors will be able to ride the trails, experience ranch life, meet rescued horses, hear their stories, and even become sponsors to help provide second chances for horses in need. I also envision a beautiful wedding venue, outdoor ceremony spaces, family reunions, business retreats, and a place where strangers arrive as guests but leave feeling like family. Every house I paint, every fence I stain, every pressure washing project, and every referral I receive helps move that vision forward. I believe God has a purpose for every step of this journey, and I'm willing to do the work while trusting Him with the timing. For years I've dreamed of creating something truly special here in Louisiana. Not just a bed and breakfast, not just a restaurant, and not just a horse ranch, but a destination where people can slow down, reconnect, and experience genuine Southern hospitality beneath the pines. The vision is called Dorcheat Pines Inn & Restaurant, a rustic 10 room getaway featuring beautifully themed rooms, a full service restaurant serving farm to table meals, fresh coffee at sunrise, trail rides through the pines, campfires under the stars, live music, and unforgettable ranch experiences. Guests would have the opportunity to meet rescued horses, hear their stories, help care for them, and even become sponsors, creating a connection that lasts long after they return home. I also envision a beautiful wedding venue with a rustic barn, outdoor ceremony spaces, and a chapel where couples can begin their lives together surrounded by the beauty of Louisiana. Families could gather for reunions, businesses could host retreats, and travelers could escape the noise of everyday life. The truth is, this dream won't be built overnight. Right now I'm building Starbrite Painting one project at a time, and every house I paint brings me one step closer to making this vision a reality. Painting isn't just what I do for a living, it's what I'm hoping will help create something much bigger than myself. Louisiana still offers affordable land compared to many parts of the country, which gives me hope that when the time is right, this dream can become reality. Until then, I'll keep painting, keep helping horses, and keep working toward a future where people, families, and rescued horses can all find a place to belong. I believe if it's meant to happen, God will open the right doors at the right time. Dorcheat Pines Inn & Restaurant is more than a business idea. It's a vision for a place where memories are made, second chances are given, families come together, and guests arrive as strangers but leave as family. ❤️🌲🐴⚜️
