2024 Mountain Trees of Hope Saving Christmas One Family at a time.
We are reaching out to Western NC Churches, Fire Departments and any other organization that might consider putting together a “Mountain Tree of Hope – Families Adopting Families”. We would like
families in need to supply a list of items that each family member needs or wants for Christmas, that list should include the first name of each family member, parents included, their age & their sizes (shoes, clothes, etc). Deadline to Apply: November 24, 2024.
The list must have a main contact name & address for delivery. The Organization setting up the tree becomes the delivery location for all the gifts for the families on their tree. We ask that the Recipient Organization accept the responsibility of delivering or having the Adoptee family pick up packages.
Once we have a specific list of groups willing to help, we will match each Western NC location with a similar group all around NC. The adopting Organization will allow their families to adopt one or more WNC families. When adopting, we ask that all gifts be individually wrapped for opening, clearly labeled per family member and then packaged in bulk in one or more boxes, all labeled with the recipient family’s main contact information & delivery location. We will ask that the Adopting Organization accept the responsibility of gathering all the donations for their location and either deliver to their Recipient Organization or coordinating with us to get them delivered.
