Have you ever dreamt of hunting elk or mule deer out west, but you either don't know where to start or can't afford a fully guided hunt? Well here's your opportunity to purchase an affordable western big adventure and get first-class advice on where to find big game.
Thanks to the generosity of Jeff and Theresa Miner of the Colorado Outdoor Adventure Guide School and Cache Creek Outfitters of Colorado, we have been given the opportunity to sell a Colorado adventure to help us continue our mission of "serving those who serve us."
Up for grabs is a 5-day DIY elk, deer, and/or bear hunt for 2 hunters in 2027 and can be used for any season/weapon - archery, muzzleloader, or rifle. Meals and lodging are included as is daily consultation with Jeff, who has been hunting and guiding in the area for over 20 years. This hunt takes place in units 41, 42, and 421 in the Collbran, CO area.
Tags are the responsibility of the hunter. Mule deer tags for these units are all draw tags regardless of season or weapon however you can apply for a preference point in 2026 and have a really good chance of drawing in 2027 with said preference point.
Archery elk tags, muzzleloader elk tags, and 1st rifle season tags for elk are also a draw but 99.9% guaranteed to draw, while 2nd and 3rd rifle season tags for elk are sold over-the-counter. Bear tags are also available OTC.
Cost of the hunt is $2,500 per person, $5,000 total for 2 hunters. Due to this hunt being sold as a fundraiser, payment will be required in full at time of booking.
