A year ago, we were just having a friends trap shoot and watching the kids absolutely love every second of it.

That day, the guys started talking about how fun it would be to make something like this a regular thing, and how maybe it could grow into something that gave back to the community, too. The very next day, Olivia and I were already brainstorming how we could actually make it happen.

And somehow, here we are.

The Elmer Legacy Group is now a registered nonprofit. We’ve given away $2,000 in scholarships, honored people in our community, brought families together, and created something people truly want to be part of.

It’s wild to look back at these photos and know this is really where the idea took off. Just friends, kids having fun, and a conversation that turned into something so much bigger.

And honestly, the very best is still yet to come. ❤️

Inaugural B4 Outdoors Squirrel Scramble

When - Saturday, Feb 7th
Who - 2-person teams
Cost - $20 per hunter/$40 per team
Where - Any legal place to hunt in Missouri
Time - legal shooting light until 3pm.
Check-in - 4pm at B4 Outdoors headquarters in Elmer, MO (17785 State Hwy HH)

Must follow all MDC squirrel hunting regulations. No trapping allowed. All squirrels must be harvested on Saturday, Feb 7th

Most squirrels wins! 10 squirrels per hunter/20 per team is the daily limit. In case of a tie, the winner will be determined by total weight of all squirrels.

1st place - $100 each/$200 per team
2nd place - $50 each/$100 per team
3rd place - $25 each/$50 per team

Side pot for biggest squirrel (weight) - $50

Proceeds will go to the mission of B4 Outdoors to provide veterans, 1st responders, law enforcement officers, and their families with transformative outdoor adventures.
