🌟 Shape the Future of Our Stage: Join the Booster Board! 🌟

It is that time of year again! In accordance with our bylaws, the Elma Performing Arts Boosters are holding elections for the upcoming school year.

We need your help, and this year it is imperative that we welcome new members. Our bylaws require a minimum of 3 board members to operate, and as of June, we will be down to just 2. We need passionate parents and community members to step up so we can continue supporting our amazing student performers!

Why Join the Boosters?
🎶 Direct Impact on Students: Your involvement ensures we can continue funding essential needs—such as meals, transportation, and event and equipment grants.

🎭 Low Time Commitment: We meet just once a month. To make it easy to fit into your busy life, you can attend either in-person or virtually via Zoom.

📣 Direct Impact: Help us coordinate recognitions, concessions, and events for the students who pour so much heart into the arts.

Available Board Positions: We are currently accepting nominations and looking to fill the following roles:

President: Guide the vision of the boosters and run our monthly meetings.

Vice President: Support the president, assist with event planning, and manage social media communications

Secretary: Keep our records organized and manage our communications.

Treasurer: Help manage funds to directly benefit the kids and programs.

How to Get Involved: If you want to step up, have questions about a role, or want to submit a nomination, please reach out!

✨ Support Our State-Level Talent! ✨

EPAB is proud to present the 2026 Spring Fling and Silent Auction! This Friday, join us to celebrate the hard work of our musicians, dancers, actors, and cheerleaders. These students have competed at the state level, and this is your chance to see all that talent in one place!

Event Highlights:

Live performances by Band, Choir, High Flyers, and Drama.

Silent Auction with amazing local items.

The "Pie a Coach/Senior" fundraiser!

All proceeds go directly toward supporting these amazing programs. Let's make this the best Spring Fling yet!

🎶 An Evening of Music in Elma! 🎶

Join us tomorrow night for a special showcase of our local talent! The Middle School, High School, and Jazz Bands are all taking the stage for an incredible night of music.

From the classics to the smooth sounds of Jazz, these students have been working hard to prepare a fantastic program for the community. Whether you have a student in the program or just love supporting the arts, we’d love to see you there!

🎓 SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: MAYAH WISDOM 🎓

Join us in celebrating Mayah Wisdom, a standout member of the Elma High School Choir and Drama departments for all four years! 🎤🎭

Mayah has been a constant presence on our stage, and while she prepares for graduation, she’s taking those talents to the next level.

The Connection: What she’ll miss most is performing with her drama club "family" and the close bonds they’ve built through the years.

Most Influential Mentor: A huge thank you to Z for helping her grow as both a performer and a person.

Future Plans: Mayah is headed to George Fox University! She will be studying English in their Honors Program while minoring in Theater and participating in Choir. 📚✨

Her Advice: "Don't be afraid to try something new—it could end up being the best experience of your life!"

Final Shout-outs: Mayah wants to thank her parents and friends for helping her thrive throughout high school.

The Spongebob Musical - Open Auditions are coming up on May 3rd and 5th at 6:30 PM at the Bishop Center. Auditions are open to all ages, but if you are 16 and under a parent or guardian needs to sign the audition form. This can be done in person at the theatre, or you can download and print our audition form at ghc.edu/musical and have them sign it before you arrive!

🎓 SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: GRACIE BISHOP 🎓

Let’s hear it for Gracie Bishop! 🎷💃

Gracie has been a powerhouse in our community, balancing an incredible 8 years in Band with High Flyers, Fall Drill, FFA, Wrestling, and Track. Her journey from a first-year drill member to a seasoned performer is a perfect example of what it means to find your passion!

Favorite Memory: Joining the competition drill team and discovering her true love for dance. ✨

Most Influential Mentors: A huge thank you to Sirena Zassenhaus and Jeff Catterlin for their guidance and support throughout the years.

Future Plans: Gracie is headed to College to become an Elementary School Teacher! 🍎📚

Her Advice: "Don’t forget to smile and enjoy the moment because it doesn’t last forever."
