Ellinwood Rise Endowment Ellinwood Rise Endowment supports outdoor beautification and restoration projects for residents within Ellinwood city limits.

We help neighbors restore yards, paint exteriors, clean up properties, and take pride in our community one project at a time. Ellinwood Rise Endowment is a community-driven initiative dedicated to enhancing the beauty, pride, and livability of Ellinwood. We support outdoor beautification, restoration, and clean-up projects for residents within Ellinwood city limits. Our mission is to remove barriers for homeowners who want to improve their outdoor spaces but may lack the resources, materials, or support to get started. Through quarterly project funding, volunteer coordination, and strong partnerships with the Ellinwood Community Foundation, the City of Ellinwood, and local organizations, we help transform yards, paint exteriors, remove debris, repair fences, and breathe new life into properties across town. We believe that when one home rises, the whole community rises. Our work strengthens neighborhoods, builds pride, and creates a more welcoming Ellinwood for everyone. Residents can apply for assistance, volunteer, donate, or help spread the word—because every project makes a difference.

Swipe through to see what neighbors and volunteers have accomplished together. From a rebuilt porch to a freshly painted garage, these projects show what’s possible when our community rises to the task.

Have an outdoor improvement project in mind? Projects must be within Ellinwood city limits, and property taxes on the project site must be current. Rental properties, businesses, and interior projects are not eligible.

Get an application at cityofellinwoodks.com, pick one up at the Ellinwood City Office, or request one at [email protected]. Return your completed application to the City Office or email it by October 1.

🎨 Exciting news for Ellinwood Rise!

Thanks to a $3,500 grant from the CPI Great Bend and Barton County Donor Advised Fund/Golden Belt Community Foundation, we were able to purchase a new paint sprayer for our Paint the Town projects! This will be a HUGE help as we continue improving properties throughout Ellinwood. 🏡

🏡 Quarter 4 Applications Are OPEN! 🌱

Have an outdoor project that could help improve the appearance of your home and our community? Ellinwood Rise Endowment is now accepting applications for Quarter 4 projects!

Projects may include:
🔨 Porch or fence repairs
🎨 Exterior painting
🌳 Yard clean-up & outdoor improvements
🪚 Minor outdoor structure repairs
✨ Other exterior beautification projects

📅 Application Deadline: October 1st

Projects must be located within Ellinwood city limits. Rentals and businesses are not eligible.
