Tonight, In the NICK of Time was presented with a Community Partners in Prevention Award by the East Providence Prevention Coalition. This award recognizes the work our foundation has done to reduce stigma, educate, and partner with community organizations to provide important information to youth and their families. We are honored to be recognized and look forward to future collaboration!

In the Nick of Time was invited by senior, Vianna Khoy, to present to students at the Met High School (Providence) as part of her Senior Thesis Project. Vianna attended the RI Teen Mental Health Summit as a junior and after hearing Nick’s story, arranged for our presentation to her fellow classmates.
Thank you to Vianna and her school staff for welcoming us into their learning community.

In the Nick of Time was honored to be included in the Rockville High School’s Mental Health Fair today. During lunch waves, students had the opportunity to visit tables, gather resources, and discuss strategies to improve their own mental health and wellbeing. We appreciate being able to share Nick’s story and to interact with so many engaged and respectful students! Special thanks to Kim McTighe, Youth Counselor and Prevention Specialist, and the amazing Peer Advocates group for organizing this worthwhile event!

We were honored to be able to share Nick‘s story and provide education and resources that will allow students to make informed decisions. Today is Fentanyl Awareness Day. Fentanyl overdose is the leading cause of death for individuals age 18-45. Fentanyl takes lives, but also destroys families and communities. It does not discriminate by zip code, tax bracket, or skin color.

Today, In the Nick of Time was among the many organizations featured at the Ellington High School Prevention Fair! It was a privilege and a pleasure to speak to hundreds of engaged, interested high school students about our mission, making educated choices, and accessing resources when they need assistance.
