What a fun morning with the pups at Homeward Bound Pet Rescue in Blue Ridge!

We have fewer dogs today due to others being cared for in a temporary foster home.

If your passion is being with dogs and cats, we can help fill that void! We need volunteers to help walk dogs and cuddle cats! (The dogs need cuddling too! Some are fairly new with HB due to the loss of their home and family for a variety of reasons.)

Max and Brick had their pre-op exams on Wednesday and neither took it seriously.

Instead, they explored every nook and cranny, played under the table, went in and out of their carriers, drank from the faucet and had to be subdued to stop their purring so the Dr could listen to their hearts and lungs!

They're purr-fect! The combo tests are negative and surgeries were done without any issues. They'll have a few days of R&R and will be ready for prime time!

If you like big dogs who smile a lot, walk along side of you and give you the look like you're the only person in the world and is ready to play when you are, you should meet Kite.

Kite does well in group play with other dogs (all sizes!). She's been living in a foster home and understands hand signals.

Kite was a year old in June.
