Update for the 9/11-12 horseback trial in Ritzville. OGD and OLGD are full. Send your entries in but they will likely be waitlisted. OAA and OD are filling fast and are close to being full.

Remember when you arrive the lessons we learned last year with fire safety. Park so that you can quickly hook up and leave if needed.

And that’s a wrap to a successful 2025 Spring Field Trial for the Inland Empire Brittany Club. The days started very early and went very long but ran smoothly. The weather was perfect – not too hot, not too cold, just right for a light jacket. Thank you to our volunteers, judges and participants. Thank you to Bonnie Hamilton for graciously volunteering to be chairman; to Kris and Tony Thompson for line marshalling the top course, running the dog wagon most of the weekend and filling in where needed most; to Bruce Dickey for stepping in and helping to set up before the trial; to Cathy Dickey for line marshalling the Gun Dog Course; to Jason and Jane Canales for use of the dog wagon; to Cathi Hall for coffee and keeping me sane; to all our amateurs who brought the best dogs around; to our pros for bringing your great strings, salting courses and planting birds even after long days in the saddle running your dogs; to everyone who stuffed bird bags, salted courses, planted birds and helped tear down after the Washington Brittany Club trial. To Jason Sanko for finding great judges so he could be free to help the whole trial. It truly takes a village!!
