Cecil CASA

Cecil CASA CASA of Cecil County is a non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for the best interests of abused and neglected children in foster care.

Our Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) are trained volunteers who provide a voice for these vulnerable children, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are protected. In addition to our CASA program, we also offer the Cecil County Mentors program, providing guidance and support to youth in our community. Together, we're working to create a brighter future for every child in Cecil County. Join us in making a difference today!

🏴✨ **Scottish Games Recap** ✨🏴

What a fun day at the Scottish Games! We loved spending time in the community, meeting new faces, and sharing more about CASA and the work we do. Our kiddie table brought lots of smiles and kept little hands busy all day long. 💚

We also want to give a huge shoutout to our volunteers who helped at the event. Thank you for showing up, jumping in where needed, and helping us create such a welcoming space for everyone who stopped by!

Today is International Family Day 💙

Family means something different to everyone—but at its heart, it’s about connection, support, and showing up when it matters most.

For many children in foster care, family can feel uncertain. At CASA of Cecil County, child safety is always our top priority. We support the goal of safe reunification whenever possible—working to strengthen families so children can return home to stable, supportive environments.

CASA volunteers provide a consistent, caring presence and advocate for services and resources that help families heal, grow, and stay together, always with the child’s best interests at the center.

Today, we celebrate all the people who help create stability and belonging, foster families, kinship caregivers, mentors, and advocates, and the ongoing work of strengthening families in our community.

Because every child deserves a safe, supported family.

✨ Shine a Light of Hope this National Foster Care Month ✨

Every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and heard, but for many children in foster care, that stability can feel out of reach.

This May, CASA of Cecil County is shining a light on the power of advocacy. Our Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA volunteers) stand beside children in foster care, ensuring their voices are heard and their best interests are never overlooked.

💙 A CASA volunteer can be the consistent, caring adult a child needs during one of the most uncertain times in their life.

You can be that light.

🌟 Become a volunteer
🌟 Support our mission
🌟 Help change a child’s story

Together, we can bring hope where it’s needed most.

Today, we celebrate the teachers who show up every day with patience, compassion, and unwavering dedication. 🍎

For many of the children we serve at CASA of Cecil County, teachers are more than educators, they are consistent, trusted adults who provide encouragement, stability, and a safe place to learn and grow.

Thank you for advocating, uplifting, and believing in every child, especially those facing difficult circumstances. Your impact reaches far beyond the classroom.

Mental health matters, especially for children in foster care.

Behind every case is a child navigating trauma, uncertainty, and change. At CASA of Cecil County, we stand beside them, advocating for their needs, their voices, and their healing.

Because when a child feels seen, heard, and supported, hope can begin to grow.

Join us in raising awareness and making a difference.
