CVMA 39-3 APR Benefit Ride/Cruise Our annual benefit ride/cruise Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association Chapter 39-3, is 501(c)19 non-profit. All are welcome unless you know your not!

Our Chapter organizes this yearly benefit in order to raise funds to help needy Northeast Iowa Veterans and Veteran Families. Our raffle we conduct funds our Veteran Scholarship program to graduating high school seniors throughout Northeast Iowa. This year we plan on awarding $18,000.00 in scholarships to graduating Seniors who have a family member who served this Country in the Military and plan

on going to College. Our Motto is Vets Helping Vets but without all who support us and what we believe in this would not be possible. This years benefit ride is July 9th (pre-ride) and July 10th (main ride) and open to the public. We meet at the Elkport Iowa campground pavilion both days. KSU at 11:00 both days for the ride/Cruise.This is open to all vehicles. If you don’t have a motorcycle come join us and cruise with your car. For Combat Veteran Association members this also serves as our APR (Annual Patriot Run). Each year we have 3 stops on the ride, bands at each stop. This benefit ride/cruise is a 2 day multi-event ride with wall to wall action. The event is held in Elkport, Iowa where we have the entire Elkport Campground which is equipped with limited electric and water hookups, showers. The Elkport Garber Community Center will house the food, beverages, bands, and breakfasts. The cost to participate in this 2 day event is $15.00 per bike and $10.00 per passenger. This gives each paid person 2 days of riding, Friday night Catfish Fry, Friday night band "Rock Steady” Saturday night Hog/goat roast, and Saturday night band "Gypsy Pistols” It also makes you eligible to receive the 400+ gift cards/prizes that will be given away throughout Saturday’s ride. Those who do not register are welcome to eat for a $8.00 a person or $15.00 a couple fee and attend the music for a $5.00 cover charge each day. If you don’t participate in our ride/cruise you can still register for $15.00 a person or $25.00 a couple and get both days food, entertainment and be eligible for Saturday giveaway prizes. We also have Friday evening biker games, Saturday night fireworks, Vendors, 50/50 raffle and a large auction. The 120 mile ride will start and end in Elkport Iowa. Friday is the pre-ride which leaves at 11:00 with no set schedule and Saturday the main ride leaves at 11:00 sharp and returns at 5:45. If you have questions email Crazy at [email protected]. We meet at the Elkport Iowa campground pavilion both days at 11:00 for the ride. Registration starts at 8:00 AM. If you don’t have a motorcycle come join us and cruise with your car. Awards will given out on Saturdays ride for best in classes for both cars and bikes. For Combat Veteran Association members this also serves as our APR (Annual Patriot Run). This benefit ride/cruise is a 2 day multi-event with wall to wall action. The event is held in Elkport, Iowa where we have the entire Elkport Campground which is equipped with limited electric and water hookups, showers. It also makes you eligible to receive the hundreds of giveaway prizes that will be handed out to the registered participants throughout the Saturday ride. Bands will perform at all Saturday stops and both Friday and Saturday night at the Elkport/Garber Community Center. Last year we handed out over $2500.00 in gift cards and goodies when we returned from Saturdays ride. All public is welcome to attend. For those who do not register you are welcome to eat for a donation of $8.00 and attend the music for a $5.00 donation each day. If you don’t participate in our ride/cruise you can still register for a $15.00 donation and get food, entertainment both days and be eligible for Saturday prizes.
