It's not just about the Auton. Kept the camera rolling to record the Teamwork. Seeing collaboration like this is the win.

Bryce Jewell puts the finishing touches on his team's first build as the Elko Innovators prepared to scrimmage at Bear River High School in Garland, Utah.

This scrimmage gave our students the opportunity to scrimmage months ahead of previous seasons, giving them a valuable head start on the season compared to our first two years. There's no substitute for seeing game pieces move and testing ideas under pressure before the official competitions begin.

Elko Innovators would like to thank the Elko Convention & Visitors Authority for giving us the opportunity to demonstrate our robots at the Mine Expo. Our newest teammates gained hands-on experience building drive trains, while visitors of all ages had the chance to try their hand at the controls and learn more about this season’s game.

It was a fantastic opportunity to introduce young people to robotics, reconnect with our supporters, and showcase the team.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the theater, asked questions, purchased raffle tickets, or simply showed their support. We couldn’t do it without this community behind us.

Harold Zoodsma from Sandvik talks about this season’s game with Metal Jackets team member Brom Huebner.

We have raised $1650 from many generous donors in our community. We are over halfway to our first goal of paying for tuition.

Gavin’s intro to the team - and the arrival of the new season’s game elements!

The Elko Innovators are getting ready for the Mine Expo demo on June 4th and 5th by building basic drivetrains so attendees can experience driving a robot firsthand. It’s also the perfect starting point for new team members, learning the foundation.

Brom and Nico unpack the new season game elements while Jason, William, and Bryce work on bots. Love the excitement of a new season as the ideas fly.
