Ever wondered what it takes to build an "official" Star Wars costume? Representatives from several of the major Star Wars costuming organizations—including the 501st Legion, Rebel Legion, Mandalorian Mercs Costume Club, The Dark Empire, Saber Guild, and others—will discuss the craftsmanship, costume standards, and community behind screen-accurate Star Wars costuming. Whether you're interested in joining a club, curious about the approval process, or simply want to create an awesome costume for fun, this panel will help you understand the different paths available. Bring your questions for an open Q&A covering everything from getting started and choosing a character to armor building, sewing, props, and finding your place in the Star Wars costuming community.

Come on down to assemble your own Night Fury - you’ll have a choice between a normal night fury dragon or Toothless specifically! We will also include the option to wear the dragon attached to your shoulder. This simplified version of the longer dragon tutorial is great for all ages and skill levels.

Come feast your eyes on the hard work and talent of cosplayers from all skill levels and fandoms as they become their favorite characters before your eyes! The categories to compete in are: Youth (ages 11 -16), Armor & Foamwork, and Sewing & Textiles. Prizes will be awarded to the top three competitors in each category after the contest, with a prize of $1,500 for the Best in Show!
