When I worked at PG I treated everyday like an outbreak day as I had animals at home to protect. I changed before leaving the shelter then changed on the porch before going in to take a shower. Both sets of clothes were immediately washed.

So maybe people need to treat everyday as an urgent day instead of one day a week. The animals are posted on their site and more times than not Stacy Ensor Wood let's me know of a senior in need before I get an email from shelter about the same dog.

The post from yesterday was about a page on Facebook asking for Sarah Lowe-Farrell job along with the guy in charge. I don't know him so go after his job all you want. I've known Sarah for 13 plus years, worked alongside her for 3 of those years and continued to work with her to save hundreds of dogs, cats and other animals. I know Sarah's heart and I know this is killing her inside. She lives for these animals and it hurts her to lose them but that's not on her that's on the owners and the public for not acting by fostering or adopting.

When I saw the post going after her it chapped my bum. She has helped me save some crazy bad medical animals with no hope that went on to be treated then adopted, little demon dogs that became sweet once leaving there and an energetic dog named Autumn that was escaping her kennel and climbing on the tops of them. There are hundreds more that she helped me and countless other rescues save. To lose her at Prince George's County Animal Shelter would be devastating to the animals that depend on her. Don't listen to people who don't know her or barely know her. Listen to the rescues she's worked beside saving animals

Does there need to be change in all high kill shelters absolutely but not at the expense of tearing an awesome human and animal warrior down. The vigilante bullying needs to stop as we can't lose any more good animal people. NBC4 WUSA 9

I am going to get hate for this but it will be from people whose opinions don't matter to me. If Sarah Lowe-Farrell gets fired from PG County I will never pull another dog from that place and I can guarantee there is another rescue that won't either.

Don't let the Bastards grind you down Sarah. I know all the animals you helped me saved and continue to. Ones that others ran from.
