Elkins/Randolph County Recycling

Elkins/Randolph County Recycling Serving the Community of Elkins and Randolph County, the recycling program is ranked #1 in the state for their efforts and results!

Tygart Valley Youth Group started recycling as a group activity in 2004. What started as 3-5 children collecting paper and aluminum to recycle in their homes has spread county wide over the past 8 years. This group is in no way affiliated with the City of Elkins. It is not a business, but rather a community project fueled by the desire to reduce the negative impact of waste on our earth. There is

a list of 70+ businesses and organizations that support the program and contribute all of their recyclables to our cause. We recycle electronics, paper, cardboard, glass, aluminum, plastic, yard waste, etc. For a full list of recyclables and drop off locations, check back soon. Any one can recycle and we try to make it as easy as possible to help you do so. If you need an item picked up, feel free to call. If you need to meet us to drop-off an item, call and arrange a time. We do glass drop-offs behind the forestry building every Wednesday from 3-6pm. We do neighborhood curb-side pick-ups on certain Saturdays of the month. Call or check back soon to see a schedule of when we will be in your neighborhood!

**This program would not be possible without the endless hours and efforts put in by volunteers and businesses alike.**
