Yesterday, you showed up. 🐾💛
And today, we’re still taking it all in.
Our 6th Annual Waggin’ in the Woods was everything we love about this community packed into one day — dogs everywhere, local businesses and rescues coming together, families wandering through the woods, old friends stopping by, new friends finding us, and so many people choosing to spend their Sunday supporting dogs who need them.
To every vendor, rescue, food truck, volunteer, donor, sponsor, raffle contributor, and person who helped behind the scenes: thank you.
To everyone who donated supplies, bought raffle tickets, stopped at a booth, shared our posts, brought your dogs, came to meet ours, or simply showed up: thank you.
And to our volunteers — the people hauling, setting up, tearing down, wrangling dogs, answering questions, running around, solving problems and doing all the unglamorous things that make a day like this happen — we could not do this without you.
Tracking In The Shadows is 100% volunteer-run. There’s no big machine behind what we do. There are just people who keep choosing to show up — for the scared dogs, the dumped dogs, the lost dogs, the ones hiding in the woods and fields, and the ones who need a little more time before they’re ready for their next chapter.
Yesterday, you showed us just how many people are standing behind them, too.
