Our hearts remain broken as we share the funeral arrangements for Raylan James Whitmire.

As many of you know, Raylan is the reason FamAlly Cares exists. His story brought the Ally Family together in a way that showed us just how powerful it can be when a community surrounds a family with love, compassion, and support. From that moment, FamAlly Cares was born.

Raylan’s life was far too short, but his impact will live on in every family we help and in everything we continue to do in his memory.

Please continue to surround Kayla, Chase, Mike, Rachel, and their entire family with love and prayers in the days ahead.

Our hearts are broken.

Many of you know Raylan's story, even if you didn't know his name. He is the grandson of Mike and Rachel Ellis, and he is the reason FamAlly Cares exists.

After he was born, Raylan spent four months in the NICU on a ventilator. Through every challenge since, he kept fighting and filled his family with joy. When the Ally Family heard his story, a spontaneous "Pass the Hat" moment at the Texas Ally Rally grew into a larger effort at the 2022 Alliance RV National Rally. Out of that love came a simple idea: this kind of care should never stop. That idea became FamAlly Cares.

Today, Raylan's parents, Kayla and Chase, shared news no family should ever have to share. Raylan has suffered irreversible brain damage and is now receiving palliative care at the end of his life.

No words can ease this kind of pain. What we can do is surround Mike, Rachel, Kayla, Chase, and their whole family with love and prayers, the same way this community did from the very beginning.

Every family FamAlly Cares has helped, every auction and every scholarship, traces back to one little boy with a big smile. That is Raylan's legacy, and we will carry it with us always.

Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers. Kayla shared that every message is read, even when there isn't time to reply, so please keep your messages gentle and respect their privacy.

Sometimes a simple card reminds you that you are not alone.

Kimberly and Buddy Sypher share how a handwritten sympathy Care Card from FamAlly Cares comforted them after the unexpected loss of their son on Valentine's Day earlier this year.

A couple weeks later, when they returned home, that card was waiting in the mail. Kimberly shares it was the first time they were truly able to let go.

We are honored they trusted us to share their story.

FamAlly Care Cards provides handwritten messages of encouragement, comfort, and compassion to individuals and families walking through difficult seasons. Because sometimes a simple reminder makes all the difference.

❤️ From a fundraiser... to a life-changing ride.

When we held our FamAlly Cares Sweepstakes during the Alliance RV Southern Ally Rally at the Splash RV Resort, our community came together and raised more than **$1,500** to support the mission of FamAlly Cares.

The grand prize? A **Lectric 2.0 eBike**.

Congratulations went to Manny Quintana... but the moment he won, he smiled and said, "I won it for my wife."

❤️ Meet Patricia.

She had owned an eBike before, but it was simply too big for her. Riding it made her nervous, so it mostly sat unused.

Then came her new Lectric 2.0.

Since May 25, Patricia has already ridden **67 miles**, and according to Manny, she absolutely loves it! The right bike gave her the confidence to get out, explore, and enjoy every ride.

This is why we do what we do.

Every raffle ticket purchased helped support FamAlly Cares, and one lucky winner turned that prize into an incredible gift for someone he loves. We couldn't ask for a better ending to this story.

Congratulations again, Manny and Patricia! We hope there are many more miles and adventures ahead.

What an incredible Welcome Event at the Alliance National Rally! 💙

We are filled with gratitude for everyone who helped make this special gathering a success. Bringing people together in a welcoming, supportive environment is at the heart of what we do, and this event was a wonderful reflection of that spirit.

What if a cancer diagnosis didn’t have to be faced alone?

That’s the question that inspired the creation of Ribbon of Hope Cancer Support Ministry.

What began as one person’s vision to provide emotional and spiritual support to cancer patients has grown into an incredible organization serving patients, families, and caregivers throughout the Michiana region. What started from a personal journey has now touched the lives of more than 2,000 individuals facing one of life’s greatest challenges.

At FamAlly Cares, we believe that caring for others extends far beyond financial support. It means providing hope, encouragement, compassion, and reminding people that they don’t have to walk difficult roads alone.

That’s why we were honored to present a $2,500 donation to Ribbon of Hope during the 2026 Alliance RV National Rally.

We were delighted to have Executive Director Loretta McGuire with us to accept the donation on behalf of the organization and the countless patients and families they serve.

This gift was made possible because of the generosity of the Alliance community—through donations, silent auction bids, sponsorships, and volunteer efforts.

Together, we’re not just raising funds.

We’re helping raise hope. 💙

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing Welcome Bag Team! 💙

This week, our volunteers came together to assemble and distribute welcome bags for attendees of the Alliance National Rally, helping create a warm and memorable experience from the moment participants arrived.

We would like to extend special recognition to our Team Lead, Trent & Yvonne Mills, whose leadership, organization, and dedication helped make this project a success. We are also deeply grateful to our sponsor, Unplugged RV Solar & More, for their generous support and commitment to helping us create a welcoming experience for rally attendees.

From organizing materials and packing bags to ensuring they reached participants, every effort made a difference. These welcome bags were more than just supplies—they were a reflection of the hospitality, care, and community spirit that define our mission.

Thank You to Our Dunk Tank Volunteers! 💙💦

Our Dunk for a Cause event was a great success, and we couldn’t have done it without the incredible volunteers who helped make it happen.

A special thank you to Teach and Tug TravelsTom and Donna Boatwright for leading the planning and coordination of this event. Your hard work and dedication helped make the fundraiser a wonderful success.

We’d also like to recognize our amazing dunk tank participants: Ryan Brady, Bill Martin, Scout Burnstine, Matt Foxcroft, Josh Winters, Millers in Motion, Venturesome Couple, Free2Roam, The RV Hunter.
